While the Bride Awaits, Let Us Continue to Pray

Merciful God, in the name of Jesus, teach Your Bride to be careful with lives that are still under construction. Remind Her that growth is often messy, sanctification is a process, and not every believer reaches maturity at the same pace. Guard Her from condemning too quickly, discarding too easily, or uprooting what You are still cultivating.

Your Word teaches that the wheat and the tares are allowed to grow together until the harvest (Matthew 13:24–30). You alone see the heart. You alone know the end from the beginning. You alone are qualified to determine what belongs in Your field and what does not.

Give Her the wisdom to nurture where You are nurturing, to disciple where You are discipling, and to extend the same patience to others that You have extended to us. May She never forget that many of us who now bear fruit once looked like unlikely candidates for Your Kingdom.

Amen.

As I reflect on my own journey, I am grateful that God did not allow people to have the final say over my future. There were seasons when I was misunderstood, overlooked, immature, and still growing. Yet the Lord, in His mercy, continued His work in me.

Lord, thank You for not allowing people to pluck me out of the church because they saw me as a weed and mistook my season of growth—and my misunderstanding of Your Word—for rebellion. Thank You for placing me in environments where I could grow, heal, learn, and flourish into the person You always knew I could become.

Thank You for the pastors, mentors, churches, and believers who saw beyond my imperfections and trusted the work of Your hands. What others may have overlooked, You were cultivating. What others may have questioned, You were developing.

Today, I’m grateful for Your patience, Your grace, and Your faithfulness. You knew what You planted, and You knew exactly how it would grow.
