Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

Reflection

Maybe you’re just tired. Not just physically tired, but emotionally and spiritually weary. You’ve been praying, believing, giving, helping others, and doing your best to remain faithful to God. Yet, somewhere along the way, you’ve become exhausted.

If that’s you, remember that God knows what you’ve been carrying, even the things you’ve never shared with anyone else.

You don’t have to pretend to be strong when you’re struggling. You don’t have to hide your tears or feel guilty because you’re tired.

Jesus already knows.

And His invitation still stands: “Come to me.”

So, whatever is weighing heavily upon your heart today, bring it to Him. Tell Him about your disappointments, your concerns, your unanswered questions, and even your weariness.

As you learn to follow His guidance, allow Him to teach you how to trust Him with what you cannot control.

Remember, resting in God doesn’t mean we’ve stopped believing, stopped caring, or given up. Sometimes, resting in God is one of the greatest expressions of our faith because we’re choosing to trust Him instead of depending entirely upon ourselves.

You may still have responsibilities tomorrow, but you don’t have to carry them with the same anxious heart today.

Jesus is still inviting the weary to come to Him. And that invitation includes you.

Prayer

Merciful God, in the name of Jesus, thank You for knowing my heart and understanding the burdens I carry. Lord, sometimes I grow weary trying to manage everything, and even when I trust You, I find myself worrying about things I cannot change.

Forgive me for the times I’ve depended more upon my own strength than upon You. Teach me how to rest in Your presence, follow Your guidance, and trust You with the things that are beyond my control.

When I become discouraged, remind me that You have not abandoned me. When I feel overwhelmed, help me remember that I can always come to You.

Lord, give me the strength to do what I must do, the wisdom to recognize what I need to release, and the peace that comes from knowing You are with me.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Have a MARVELOUS MONDAY and a MIRACULOUS GOD-FILLED week!

KEEP THE FAITH!
