I know it’s Monday, and your Sunday may have already filled you up, but here’s a little more food for your soul to chew on throughout the week.
Reflection
It’s easy to become so busy with life that we stop noticing the greatness of God all around us.
David wrote, “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.” (Psalm 139:14) His focus isn’t only on being wonderfully made, but on the wonderful God who made him. He’s overwhelmed that the God who created the universe also knows him personally.
As we begin this week, let’s take a few moments to slow down and notice God’s marvelous works. May the wonder of His creation remind us that the God who made the universe also knows us personally. May our response be the same as David’s… PRAISE.
Prayer
Merciful God, in the name of Jesus thank You for the marvelous works of Your hands. May our hearts be filled with gratitude, our mouths overflowing with praise, and our lives continually acknowledging Your greatness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
